The CLARITY Leadership Framework™
A structured path from insight to sustained capability. Every stage connects coaching conversations to live business application and measurable progress — so change shows up in the work, not just the session.
Insight is not the goal. Applied, measurable change is.
CLARITY is deliberately practical. It moves from understanding your context, to diagnosing how you lead, to applying new behaviours against real business challenges — and then measures whether they held.
Context
Understand the leader, role, business, stakeholders, and organisational realities.
Leadership Diagnosis
Identify behavioural patterns, strengths, blind spots, and performance constraints.
Alignment
Define leadership priorities, outcomes, and clear measures of success.
Real-World Execution
Apply new behaviours to live business challenges between sessions.
Impact Review
Measure progress, gather feedback, and reinforce accountability.
Transformation
Embed sustained leadership habits and long-term capability.
Your Next Level
Prepare for continued growth beyond the engagement.
C — Context
What happens. We build a precise picture of the situation you are actually leading in — your role and mandate, the business and its pressures, the stakeholders around you, and the organisational realities that shape what is possible.
Typical activities. Structured intake conversation; review of your priorities and current challenges; where relevant, sponsor and stakeholder input to establish a shared starting point.
How it connects to the workplace. Everything that follows is anchored to your real context — not a generic leadership model.
L — Leadership Diagnosis
What happens. We identify how you lead today — the behavioural patterns and strengths you can build on, and the blind spots and constraints holding back your performance or your team’s.
Typical activities. Focused diagnostic conversation; optional 360-style or stakeholder feedback; pattern analysis across recent decisions and situations.
How it connects to the workplace. The diagnosis is expressed as observable behaviour in real situations, so it is actionable rather than abstract.
A — Alignment
What happens. We agree the two or three leadership priorities that matter most, the outcomes we are working toward, and how we will know progress is real.
Typical activities. Priority setting; defining success measures tied to business and team performance; agreeing the cadence and focus of the engagement.
How it connects to the workplace. Success measures are defined in business terms, giving both you and any sponsor a clear line of sight.
R — Real-World Execution
What happens. This is where coaching earns its keep. You apply new behaviours to the live challenges in front of you — a difficult stakeholder, a stalled decision, a team that isn’t performing.
Typical activities. Rehearsal and preparation for real conversations; committed actions between sessions; structured reflection on what worked and what didn’t.
How it connects to the workplace. The work happens in your business, not in the room — the session is the preparation and the debrief.
I — Impact Review
What happens. We check whether change is actually landing — measuring progress against the success measures we set, gathering feedback, and holding the work to account.
Typical activities. Mid-point review; feedback from stakeholders where appropriate; honest recalibration of priorities.
How it connects to the workplace. Progress is evidenced by behaviour and results, not by how the sessions felt.
T — Transformation
What happens. New behaviours become habits. We embed the changes so they hold under pressure and after the engagement ends.
Typical activities. Consolidating what has worked into repeatable practice; building the personal systems and disciplines that sustain it.
How it connects to the workplace. The aim is durable capability, not dependence on the coach.
Y — Your Next Level
What happens. We look ahead — clarifying the leadership challenge beyond this one, and how you will keep growing without a coach beside you.
Typical activities. Forward plan; identifying the next stretch; optional lighter-touch mentoring or advisory support if useful.
How it connects to the workplace. You leave with a clear sense of the next level your role — and your career — will require.
Coaching connected to measurable progress
The CLARITY Framework exists to ensure coaching is never activity for its own sake. Every engagement defines what progress looks like at the outset and reviews it throughout — so the value is visible to you, and to any sponsoring organisation.
